Maintaining an energetic team through team building activity to keep people connected, performance & champions. Our company organized team building activities every year and this year we went to Mũi Né, Vietnam for 3 days trip from 16th April 2021 to 18th April 2021.
Mũi Né is a beach resort town along the sea in Southeast Vietnam. With a long, palm-lined stretch of sand, it has steady wind conditions (in the dry season) that make it a top destination for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, and other water sports. It’s also a popular weekend getaway from Ho Chi Minh City, with a busy strip of hotels, restaurants, and shops.
Day 1: Start Our Dream Journey
We have started our dream journey of team building activities by bus around 6:30 a.m on Friday 16th April from our Speranza Vietnam office in Ho Chi Minh City. We have eaten bread with eggs for breakfast before starting our journey. It took around 6 hours to reach our destination after lots of fun activities on the way. We have stayed in Ocean Place Resort during our trip to Mũi Né. After we arrived at the resort, they welcome us with some fruit drinks and provide us with room keys. All of us gather for lunch around 1 p.m after taking a rest for 30 mins. During lunch, we have many different kinds of delicious foods. After finishing lunch, everyone went to take a nap for 1 hour.
From 2:30 p.m, we have started our team building activity events. It’s including tug of war, team dance, and many more fun activities. All those events have finished around 4:30 p.m and after that, we have visited the sea beach for swimming. We went to eat dinner outside with a traditional Vietnamese family. In there, we have enjoyed lots of delicious fresh seafood that was cooked in front of us. Finally, we returned back to our resort around 9:30 p.m after spending a memorable dinner for 3 hours. After taking 30 mins rest, we all took part in playing werewolf card game from 10:00 p.m and it’s finished around 12:00 a.m before we went to bed after a long day of activities.
Day 2: Gala Dinner & Break The Wall
We woke up around 7 a.m to start our day 2 with a buffet breakfast at the resort. After finishing breakfast, we went to play golf around 9 a.m. It was an amazing experience for many of us who have played golf for the first time on that day. After playing golf, we returned back to the resort and took our swimming dress for water sports activity. We went there around 10:30 a.m and spend around 2-3 hours there. Also, we have eaten lunch there before returned back to our resort. Everyone took nap for 2-3 hours and got ready for gala dinner and break the wall events.
Finally, those events started at 5:30 p.m. Our leadership team started the event with their speech and after that, the prize distribution event took place to recognize employees of the year. We have started eating dinner from 6:00 p.m as part of “Gala Dinner”. Lots of delicious food around us and lost fun activities going on parallelly for next 2-3 hours. After lots of fun, both events ended around 10:00 p.m. and everyone was looking very happy. Before going to bed, we have played the werewolf card game for 3 hours.
Day 3: It’s Time to Say Goodbye
Finally, day 3 has arrived and it’s time to say goodbye to this beautiful beach resort. Same like day 2, we woke up around 7 a.m and went to eat buffet breakfast. After finishing breakfast, we have packed our luggage and checkout at the resort reception. We have started our journey around 9:30 a.m from there to return back our office in Ho Chi Minh city. We have stopped twice in the middle for local market shopping and lunch accordingly. We also continued to play the werewolf card game on the bus before we have reached our final stop. We have reached around 2:30 p.m in our office before saying goodbye to everyone and return back home.
There is no doubt that the team building activities 2021 was one of the most successful events of this year. We are eagerly waiting for our next year’s team building activity from now. Many thanks to our event organizer team who did an amazing job throughout the event to make it one of the best events of the year.
